> Anyone To Whom I May Have Sent Pre-release Victorian Patchwork, Please send me your files!

I have been working for a number of years now on Victorian patches for Furcadia, but unfortunately, my old computer got fried, I lost my jumpdrive before I could transfer the files to another computer, and I recently found out (two days too late!) that geocities has finally been shut down, thus rendering all my online backups unrecoverable.

I am still hoping that my jumpdrive is only temporarily misplaced and not lost. In the meantime, if you are reading this and have at any time in the past received from me a pre-release copy of my Victorian London exteriors (wobjects) patch or my Victorian world map patch (based on modified Kyrenia patch), and if you still have those files, please send them to me! I would be eternally grateful.

I wish I could show you a screenshot of the patches I am referring to, but alas, these too are now lost.

PS: if a moderator decides this should be in the Patches forum instead, feel free to move this thread.

EDIT: Almost forgot to include my email address: jmaxj@yahoo.com

I have your world fair patch...if you'd like that.

Glad to see you are back!

I presume by world fair you mean my Great Exhibition patch, which thankfully is still hosted at the Furcadian Historical Society (http://simon.greydawn.net/public/), so I still have that one. Thanks nonetheless.

Thanks to everyone who replied or sent what they could, even if it was just your sympathy. Well, I went through my email's "Sent" folder and recovered the Victorian world map patch and dream, but no trace of Victorian London patch stuff. I don't think I sent it to anyone after all, so it looks like my only hope is finding my jumpdrive again. So everyone who can, please send me some good finding vibes!

This site has archived a lot of the Geocities sites, it's worth checking here: http://www.reocities.com/ - They're still importing the data they grabbed so not all sites are in, but a LOT of the Geocities archive should be in there once they're done.

If not, http://www.archive.org/ might also be helpful.
