Wouldnt it be cool to have players choose hairstyles and or clothing styles too? Like for the hair: Spikey, long, short and such. and for the clothes: Baggy, tight and such?

I know its much work and all, but then we dont look all the same anymore, eh.

Alright, say you want 3 different shirts, 3 different hairstyles, and 3 different sets of pants...

Each form of a player requires a 80 forms (Winged included) now if you were to add in those 3 shirts, 3 hairstyles, and 3 sets of pants, it would be the equivalent of 2000 images, per walkabout (80 current images * 3 shirts *3 pants *3 hairstyles= 2160 images per walkabout) And how many player sets would be un-usable because of this addition? It doenst sound very practical to impliment now. If it were in the earlier stages, it sounds like a good edition if it werent going to be so much work... what artist wants to create 2160 images for one walkabout.

Note: The number 2160 includes the images needed for wings on an avatar also.

Well, you have a point..but maybe only one hairstyle? Making it long, or short? Or maybe a hat? It sounds like a good idea...it would just mess up lot's of people's FSH. 'Specially people that spent lots of time in their avatars..IE- Pokemon Paradise.

Mmh, thats true, never thought of the many images involved for that to succeed.. Well, it may never come out but it would be neat.. Aw well.

I think this might be an option when we get 3d avatars... But that won't happen for a very long time.

Maybe we need to do the avatars a different way...
Say, instead of having different avs with wings, without wings etc, just have normal avs and give the game wing graphics by themselves and tell the game how to "attach them" to the furre, etc.

Could we go to a 3D system? Similar to NWN, perhaps?

Then it wont be accesible for almost all people, for NWN need a 3d card. (right?)

You know, as much as I despise NWN, I've got to take argument with that statement.

Anyone who doesn't have a 3D-capable video card at this point needs to shell out 5 bucks and get one.

What if you don't want clothes?  We should have the choice to walk around naked.

You don't need a 3D card to play 3D games. Half-Life was designed for 486s and Pentiums doing software rendering.

I doubt anybody would be running anything less than that, and I doubt that Furc3D would *need* hl-level detail ^^
