I think we should be able to have avatar frogs, and feral animals. Like, walk of 4 legs instead of 2. =P :cat-ecstatic: And...Invisibility should be allowed  :cat-ecstatic:

Join the petition.
This has been suggested about 50 billion times.
Well, the invisibility hasn't as much, although there's patches for it and it sounds like a bad idea to me.

There used to be a bug, to turn you invisible, but Felorin fixed it. #SL

The feral animals thing I don't think will ever be implimented because they're not really supposed to exist in the Dragonlands thing. Or something. The closest things we've gotten was the eagles.

They don't fit the theme of Furcadia.

Furcadia is also a place of imagination. Obviously, you've seen that they're feral animals, and can picture it- you don't need the avatar. Just because your char is wearing a trenchcoat, and the av has a vest, doesn't mean you try to change it, right?
(I'm tired..)
In any case, I don't think feral avs will be used. In all the continuity stuff on the site, it says they don't exist. And as the Dragonlands rules are the default, they would have to change a lot of stuff just to include ferals.
It'd be weird to put something in that didn't fit in the base comunity, right? The people playing ferals obviously don't follow that anyway, but they're not inforced as it is.
My train of thought just derailed.

God, that was rambling.

Well I play a skunk and a bear and I have a friend that plays a squirrel. Another roleplayer I know plays a yak! I've seen characters with bat wings. Some of my characters have long hair. I have a mint green fox but there is no mint green fur color better add that too.. There are people playing humans and elves and drow..

They need more fur colors more hair colors more wing types, skunk/squirrel avatarsk, bear avatars, yak avatars, cow avatars, deer avatars, long haired avatars, male avatars, female avatars, kit avatars, avatars in mage robes, avatars in capes and dresses and dominatrix costumes!

... it isn't going to happen.

avatuer i would love to see is demonic devil wings in full details way better than classics where it would look pure evil but anywho why bother trying to get more avateur cause really more avateur ='s more size of how long furcadia would take to download and not everyone is a fan of downloading stuff. bigger the size less ppl that download so adding isn't always the best solutions but if you rid teh `gomaps well not really them but some of the maps that are in your furcadia folder that no one ever use them maybe you could lol

For a set of wings you're adding 120 new images (six new avatars) to Furcadia.

Adding a single new avatar (such as skunk) would only be 80 (Normal, Classics, Tris, Butterflies)...

I happen to  :furc-heart: my classic wings.

I think I came up with something better...But I dunno....

Ok, something new for SS people. They can create their own avatar, and choose whether it can be public, or only something for them and anyone they give it to to use. But you have to be SS to do it...Something like that?  :cat-creative:

It's an idea Ketti, except people /will/ take advantage of that. Either by making invisible avatars, giant avatars that take up a full screen, and avatars innapropriate for Furcadia's public. Besides, they already get a port space per month :)

Bah, I still think they shold have used Kestrel's Eagles instead of there's. Much more detailed.
As for the whole 'Adding Avatars' subject..they need to add bears. :cat-disappointed:

Kestrel's eagles are beautiful, but she never finished them. ;D Plus, the shading doesn't really fit in with the Furcadian style...Then again, neither does the lapines'!

Um, back on subject.  I imagine they are not concentrating much on new avatars, currently, because DEP's working really hard to get the Beta functioning.  At least, that's what I heard, but gossip has a way of being...unreliable?  Anyway, if you're hungering for feral avatars, go make your own set to show off to everyone, and afterwards become furious as you find people have been stealing and altering them!  It's all the rage in the Furcadian art community.  >_> But ha ha, I have foiled them with my incredible lack of initiative, and have refrained from actually making any of my ideas a reality.

It has been said for some time that the next free for all avatar planned is Squirrel/Skunk.

Bleh.  I think that mustelines, ferrets, skunks, wolverines and the like look EXACTLY the same at Furcadia's tiny pixel-resolution.  So I am saying, "What's the point?"  Is it because the word "musteline" is used when you select your species that you cannot use that avatar as a skunk?

Squirrels are different because of the position of their tails.  If I'd make an avatar, I'd pick an avatar with distinctive features.  Strangely enough the platypus and the beaver have never been requested.

Moreover, a few months ago, I made an avatar for bears and people didn't like it because they thought that the bears were too fat.  Unfortunately, artistically speaking, I can't make a skinny bear because I have never ever seen a skinny bear before.  In fact, all the bears that I have seen have the width and height ratio of a barrel.

Recently, I made Wyrmme avatars (looking like a lizard or an oviraptor) and people like them.  Strangely enough, the Wyrmme avatars were skinny.

So I am jumping to the conclusion that everyone has been brainwashed by the media's projection that skinny is beautiful.

-I- liked the bears.

And personally, I'd think beavers would be incredibly cool.
