I would like to see 'taurs added as a default option for characters. This would be canintaurs, felitaurs, modified centaurs (no human [portions, just all horse), and so on. If you like this idea, please respond to this post with a 'yes', if not, then respond with a 'no'

I'd have to say no to any new avatars. They add more download time, and that's something I can go without.

Whatever happened to letting our imagination soar? Not to criticise, but I'd say that if I can look at every feline avatar and know that really they all don't look exactly the same, then I can do the same, read a description and know in my mind that the avatar is s'ppose to be a 'taur or whatever.

I know you'd like to see 'taur characters as an official avatar, but if by chance you'd like a peek at the next best thing, Honcho has a lovely cat-taur patch in the archive.

Look, I appreciate your replies, but I only asked for a simple 'yes' or 'no'
I told Felorin that is all I'd ask for, and I'd appreciate it if you stated so at the begining of your post.
Aslo, about the 'Let Your Imagination Soar' thing, some people don't know what a 'taur is, and some of those that want 'taur characters are unable to explain what one is because either the one they're explaining to can't understand, or they can't formulate the idea without a pic..

For those of you who don't know what a 'taur is, here's an example pic of a wolftaur, in fact, it's a pic of my character: Pic of Mako Frost

(And no, you're not seing things, those are fins, he's half shark.)

No.

(PS I don't think anyone wants to roleplay with a person who can't even explain what their character is.)

No.

Frankly, if you want to have a taur avie, you try and make it yourself. It comes down to the fact that Furc is fine as it is. If you really wanted a taur, you can see how hard it is to make a patch for it. Be greatful we have what we do already.   cat-cynical.gif

No

No feral equines, no creatures with feral equine arses.  The people who really must go against the grain can patch all the like, and I encourage as much...but furcadia need not destroy it's own continuity...however, this hasn't stopped em before so who knows  hbiggrin.gif

NO

There, but why?
-Increased Download
-If you have a dream, use a player patch
-The work that goes into making another avatar
-It would truely go against us in the long run, 'cause if we add 'Taurs, then furres will say "You did 'Taurs, now why not ____?" and there will be a ton of that, I would know, I know the furres that sleep in the closet waiting for a chance to strike and get what they want.....

Sorry, got carried away....

Well, the patches currently available could be used as a template for future 'taur avatars, as for the download time, if it's only maybe 5 small files added, it would not make much of a difference. Of course, I don't know what it takes to add a new avatar, but Felorin told me to put it to a vote here. Look to my previous two posts for my instructions. sh.gif

Also, this is serious, I would appriciate it if you'd not joke around with this. At the time, I have 2 confirmed 'yes' and 8 or nine confirmed 'no' and 5 indecipherable, so I think you might see why I'm bit annoyed with the jokes and inconclusive posts. sh.gif

I'd have to say 'No' too having tours as a full fledged avatar.

however, that no isn't with a lot of force but I don't question my vote either. I don't go into some continuities over the fact they make us Rabbits into Tours rather then rabbits.

I don't like the idea of tours going around in a 'furre' game, but I'm not against people Role Playing them.

Personally, imagination is a 'must' in a Role Playing game so I feel it's important too use it.

Another note is Tours are supposed too be a 'rare' thing and Mysterious. Like Vampires and Lycanthropys, they would become very  common placed if an official avatar was put into place and that'd just damage Role Playing more.

So yeah, that's my two cents.  bbiggrin.gif
