We need a new species in the game...., Monkeys Options

Yeah thats right.  Ive been thinking for sometime and.... I THINK WE NEED MONKEYS IN FURCADIA!  I mean.. first of all many people LOOOOVE monkeys!  ####'s sure I do!  :devil:  And besides we already have bunnies and not many people like those... to be honest i detest them so why not put monkeys?  It would be a great idea.. just think about it..... they are more famous and monkeys just rule!  Just think about it... why not?  Im all for it!

PS:  Would asking for a Godzilla special feature for Furcadia be asking for too much?  :biggrin: Hee hee.  I'll leave that one up to you.

just one thing, the avatar realy needs to look alike a monkey. so i guess that one with a tail whoud be the best choice....

Hmm... a maybe possibly idea would be to allow "transparent" as a colour in one of the colour ranges. Then have that colour allocated to the tail part of the avatar if you want to have an ape rather than a monkey. Allows a little more versatility, but might not be doable, since you'd have to do something about the black outlines of the tail too.

I think monkeys have been "shot down" before because they're too human.  I'd tend to agree, when there are so many other species to choose from right now.

Awwww shucks!  Monkeys been shot down for being too human?  Well at least it gives us an option to be somewhat human yet a animal with fur on Furcadia.  After all this is FURcadia.  I mean if we can put horses in their... which have nothing to do with fur let alone... have anything in relation with the others species... we gotta put the simian species in there!  At least they would best those d*** ed rabbits!  That is all for my ranting and raving. :biggrin:

Uh.. the term FURcadia has nothing to do with the avatars having fur (Well kinda, but not the way you think. AND, horses do have fur, it's just short). It's FURcadia because there are FURRES in Furcadia, hence the name. :biggrin:

I've recently requested that personal Dreams have Local Races.  The way I proposed it works is this:  You create a character just as per usual, and pick a race just as you would.  When you enter a Dream with "Local Races", up to three buttons appear, one for each Local Race, and by clicking the button, you transform to that Local Race.  When you leave the Dream, you're back to your Default again.  There would also be winged versions of the Local Races.

A Dream Owner could thus add 3 species (6, if they made the Winged versions something different again).

Its important for DEP to know how many people want something, even if its been requested before. Instead of starting a new thread, how is it any worse to bump an old one, so people can see some other requests for the same thing?
