I've been thinking on this one for a while now, and I guess I am in the mood to share it. First off, a new choice in character creation. There are many furres in Furcadia, but their color choices are not the only things that make them different. Some are old, and some are children. I think Furcadia should add an option for adult or child. Maybe one for fat and skinny too, but thats not the point. I think there should be a child version for all the avatars. It would add to the RP value. Secondly, I think it would be really cool if Furcadia were to come out with personalized avatars. Of course this could cause problems, but if there is a strict size limit that the avatars must fit within, that should narrow it down, the same concept of the port spaces, only with avatars.

yeah it would be cool to have more options, but it's not going to happen (for the same reason there won't be genders in the walkabouts).
besides, you can do this (and some already have) in your own dream. RPing is rare on the main maps, it's mostly constricted to players' dreams anyways, and you can patch your dreams however you want. if you want to make a species (or localspecies) children or fat or two-headed zaphod beeblebroxes then it's already possible. it would be great to be able to customize your walkabout on the main maps more, but it's probably not going to happen (maybe in the beta?) |

Yes, this is a good idea. Maybe besides size requirements, a beekin or guardian or something could filter out all the uncalled for ones. I would love to use my personalized Great Dane avatar on mine. But then again, would this lower digo sales? I personally don't think digo is called for, but then again things like dragons and stuff take a lot of time and effort to make on the side of the programmers. -_-

One thing and one only. This would make dreamweaving much harder. Why? No one wants to make 100 avatars for one dream.. Roleplaying isn't very realistic, thats the point.. its imagination. So as corny as it sounds: Beleive in the impossible, for in your mind it will come true.

I highly doubt that this is going to happen because that means that they would have to have let's see... 14 players x 2... They would have to have 28 player patches total, and for those who are long-time players, you know that it took 8 or 9 years for Furcadia to get 14 characters, so if we add 14 more, then that would take YEARS by the way that Furcadia moves. Plus, it took several months for Furcadia to pull out the new avatar, the squirrel, and if it took that long to make one player patch, then how long will it take to make 14 more? I'm not saying this isn't possible; i'm saying that it's unlikely. I'm just thinking logically, but in several years, this feature may be possible.
