A New Digo Item? Options

If there was a Digo item that let you make an avatar that you could use in everywhere on furc, sort of like a dragon or of those sorts, but you create it. Alot of people could want to make their own avatar, but they would have to pay a fee like any other digo item, but it's just a thought. If it would be possible in any way, it might earn a lot of money, and those who would be willing to pay would be able to create their own avatar , but they would probly have to buy a port space and make one to go with it. It's just a suggestion or an idea, but it could earn asome money if any are willing to pay a fee.....

I've actually thought of this before, but think of this, when ports are loading, it says Please wait loading... Does that mean We'll see acouple of please waits floating around a dream... and it might interfere with dreams

I'll have to agree with Loco here; Although this sounds like a good idea "down on paper" - everytime someone uses a custom avatar everyone else in the area would have to download it.

In dreams we download the files before entering inside and for main maps we already have the files to begin with.

When adding *anything* to furcadia DEP has to consider PRO's and CON's
Pro: More income from it.
Con: Excessive loading times (avatars are a lot bigger then portraits for size)
Con: Avatars are difficult to create in the first place; not many people may buy before they have a avatar completed
Con: More time needed to process "acceptable" avatars; some people may try to use "mature" avatars when this is not allowed. Gar gives enough time just processing the portraits

Thats just my list; there may be many more to add besides. Plus there's the coding involved.

The patch system would have to undergo a drastic alteration to allow for universal custom avatars.
