Well, I've a new idea for a digo... Don't get mad at me for asking but...
I think that horses, canines, etc. have grown well... tiresome... we've had them for a while, imho. I think it's time that the guys that created Furcadia make a new one... My suggestion for one? Well.... It's a bit odd for me asking, but I think it should be a bat. I know we have bat wings, true. But some people really want to walk around Furcadia as a bat avatar, rather than using a rodent avatar with bat wings, why not just make a bat? We have Rodents, Canines, Felines, Equines, Mustelines, Lapines, and Squirrels, minus the digos. With the digos, we have Gryffins, Dragons, and Phoenixes. I'd try to make a bat avatar, but I am bad at spriting and pixeling. What do you guys think? |

1) There's going to be a new free avatar in the next update, this was announced a good long time ago.
2) Bats are redundant. Be a mouse with bat wings. |

Want my new idea for a new furre? A owl ^^ I know we have phoenixes and gryfees, but a anthro owl with rather small wings at the back. And it's non-digo, so no special effects.

Um ... they're boring? Patch your default patch. This is the first time I ever heard that people want a bat-avatar. And yeah, squirrels are still new, and there are going to be minotaurs in the next update. I don't find the current species boring, and I'm on furcadia for 4 years. (O.O! I just noticed, today's my furcadia birthday XD so exactly 4 years)

OWLS? Check Talz's website. She made a feral owl for her harry potter style things i think. IT could have possibly been a feral dragon. or both.

Mice are a member of the order Rodentia, as are squirrels, albeit they are in different families. Dogs, cats, and weasels are members of the order Carnivora, again in different families. Horses are a member of the order Artiodactyla. Rabbits are a member of the order Lagomorpha.
On the other hand, bats are a member of the order Chiroptera, and skunks are actually a member of the order Carnivora, and therefore more related to dogs, cats, and weasels than they are squirrels. Skunks may be similar in appearance to squirrels possibly due to convergent evolution. Even past that, there are only two superorders (Laurasiatheria and Euarchontoglires) being represented in the basic... well you can't really call them "species" because the animal type is only being represented by the order... avatar choices. Furcadia needs more diversity.  This is all from a phylogenetic standpoint, of course. |
