Information about Ferians - read it.
Pardon me for speaking up but I felt I was seeing "ferals in an ANTHRO game is stupid!" waaaay too often on these boards. All avatars are based on the rules in the Dragonlands continuity from what I can see, and Ferians exist just fine. I've never seen such a harsh backlash from an avatar before, sheesh. Can't we all just get along? Really? |

Really, I think they recently added that. I think talz said a while ago that she still has to add the ferians into the dragonlands thingy. The avatar itself looks good but I'm not really into all those feral-dreams. Also, I don't have real problems with ferians on mainmaps.

We've had non-anthropomorphic eagles for a long time anyway.

There are tons of feral dreams, that means DEP noticed this and tried to start adding avatars that a lot of players would like. It's a good thing that they're paying attention to their fanbase, don't you think? |

He's even allergic to tigers and other big cats.

The big cats actually DO sound fun. *grins*
I love leopards, I collect leopard spots, but really, I didn't want to fade into the crowd as a feline avatar, so I play a rodent. But if I could play a ferian leopard? Ooooh, that could be fun... |

Furcadia needs to add a human-avatar as a digo, for those of us who want one. If the ferals get theirs, where's ours? ;)

In a game called FURcadia, humans would be totally out of place and inappropriate. If you want to play as a human, you can. If you want your avatar to reflect that, you can download one of the human patches floating around. Regardless of how much money the could make selling it, if Dragon's Eye Productions were to add human avatars, it would be completely self-serving and spineless on their part, and would demolish the basic premise of this game. |

Yeah I don't see humans ever showing up officially in an animal-centric dream.
Even though. *pokes her boyfriend's beard* ...some humans I know ARE fairly furry... |

I find it retarded people hate the avatar. It's a beautiful digo. But the portrait is a bit ugly. Point and blank.

I agree with Kamose! The portraits are kind of cool; much like what the avatar looks like, but better.

That card has been pulled time and again, and to the same effect as now, man. Felorin said they weren't making a "Furry Game" it just had "Animals" for avatars. Hyoomans, (humans) are, I believe, in the Dragonlands backstory as history and legend. You're misguided on what the basic principle and purpose of this game is, good buddy. It's to have fun, and get something of an escape. "Let your imagination Soar" isn't the same thing as "Let your imagination Soar... just so long as it soars the way we want it to." DEP is a business, and they need to think like a business. Just like Blizzard does, and Microsoft, and Google. They're all business people and their first concern should be the bottom line. It's not here, though. Be thankful for that. |
