My Suggestions. Options

These are most of my suggestions for new stuff on Furcadia.



If you do let furres have pets, I think you should put in an auto button and a control button on the pet thing. Auto button should make the pet act all on its' own with its' own personallity, while the control button brings up a whole new window for you to control everything the pet does(Meow, bark, roll over on it's back, ect.) I also think there should be babies and teens for furres, plus the pets start as babies and grow up into adults(and I would say it should be in real life time, like a dog takes a few weeks before it can leave its mom and sibs), and that the pets should be free(In every other online game I see pets cost real money in real life, that doesn't seem fair. This could be the first game with free pets!!! It could get really popular for that.). Don't kill/ban me for this but I think Furcadia should be a little like clubpenguin(www.clubpenguin.com), like being able to do different moves, like dancing, waving, ect. And of course clothes that are free, and new avatars that are free(Like hamsters(Especially hamstas!!!), lizards, snakes, geckos, frogs, and maybe even a fish avatar that lets you change your fish design thing(like what type of fins and stuff.) And thats all I have to say. ty and goodbye.

I know Felorin does want to add little actions and things (like waving, etc) but it wouldn't work with Furcadia's current setup. It would massively add to the patch download size. But if that ever gets revamped, it's a possibility it'll get added. =)

As for the pets being free.. no, that's not going to happen. They're going to be a Digo Market item, just like portraits and so on. Why? That's Furcadia's only source of revenue, really.

As for your suggestions on avatars, you may want to glance over this thread.

There will be more free default avatars, this we can be assured of. Bears at the very least and undoubtedly more. When DEP is able to add them depends upon many things, not the least of which is money and time.

oh yea I forgot to put in there that there should be on your furcadia editor, another button in there, where you click on that button and it changes it to the dreams avatars and stuff, incase you're in another dream and don't know which color goes where ;3 .

I think pets should cost money, except maybe for a 'starter' pet. Maybe the 'starter' could be a pet rock or a rat. Then you have to pay for the bigger pets like tigers, dogs, and kitties. The price being according to the anamla's exoticness. Like a regular mutt or tabby you can pick off the streets can be the least. Wolves, tigers, and exotic anamals can be more expensive.

True, and you guys can take it astep furthur and make the fantasy ones cost a bit more than a regular one. If youg uys come out with pets in th e future, I may want to see if I can get a dog that looks as close to a coonhound as I can for Tarquin.

great ideas, how about a custom making pet system? Kinda like making your own Waja. Oh and for the find thing you could say `Find Furre's Name. The custom pet system thing could be like this, first you choose what kind of pet you want(Dog, Cat, Dragon, Gryphon, Hippocampus, Dolphin, HippoGryph.), then you choose extras and colors, like the color blue and extras a unicorn horn or rino horn, and then bird or bat wings, two or seven tails, so you could make it unique, your own pet you made up :3.

Furcadia will always be free, but pets also cost money to make, and the balance of players who support the game and those who are content without digo items needs to be maintained, or Furcadia can't surive. Pets have been on the list for something to be made for a long time, and unfortunately, we cannot offer them for free. They do use up system resources as well and can you imagine how crowded and chaotic all would be if everyone had multiple pets? There'd also be no rarity or specialness about them.

Also, Furcadia is NOT Neopets, or Gaia Online. It is a social game. In order to realisticly to be able to give a ciertan amount of "In game" money, Furcadia will have to ban the use of proxies. That will make poxy users mad.

I am taking it that you don't know how busness works. Pets is something a furre dosn't need to play Furcadia. It's just an extra little whistle you can get to add to your avaitar. if DEP is to offer everything free, to be 'fair' to people who can't afford the digo items, DEP will go out of busness. Pets for free dosn't make the experiance more memerable because, everyone will have a pet. Only time pets would be free would probably be on free digo day, and that's it. You are thinking that Furcadia would be the only game that gives pets out for free. Sorry, this isn't true. Puzzle Pirates lets everyone have a rat for a pet. To get bigger pets they are paied for. the rats on Puzzle Pirates arn't special. They don't make the experiance more "memorable." They are just cute and follow you around.

Furcadia has been giving free users MORE things at the expense of their pocketbooks. Don't meen that they are going to give everything for free. DEP has to eat, and pay utilities after all. I am greatful that Furcadia is stable with their free users. I've been on "Delphiforums" as a free user, but I don't go there anymore because of a bad busness mistake. Delphiforums turned around and took away the nice stuff from free users, to the point that free users only can post on other people's bords. (Free users couldn't even own their own bords!)

From this experiance, I don't ask digos to be free. I'm happy that Furcadia isn't going the Delphiforums route, and taking things away from free users. I'm fine with extra doodads being pay, because Furcadia gives so much free in the first place.

For the um baby furres and stuff there should be buttons like if your canine it should have buttons on them that say, baby, kid, teen, ect. Oh and there should also be like default bird furres, like a penguin!
