Just A Suggestion, Humans Options

I know this i s furcadia, but i cannot believe how many 'humans' i see running about ( Me included X3), I was gonna suggest making a 'humaniod' a species everyone can use since i see them all the time. Its like a ratio of human to furres, 1:6. Since after i click 6 furres, i see a human. So yeah. I was just wondering if DEP could make a human a local species for us to use.

I've not seen humans in furcadia, but I am noticing a distict loss of it's original roots..

In some places, like FurN, i've seen Humans pop up in a few dreams. And its not like 1 or 2. Its like about 10 in some of the dreams. And since we got some bears and ferian felines, what about us humanly folks that dont want to play as an animal? I mean, Animals and humans DO live together...>> Though sometimes not peacefully..

I believe that the consensus on the last thread about this subject was a very firm no.

Furc's a game based primarily around animals, whether humanoid or otherwise. Sure, you can make human or elf or whatever characters - no one's going to restrict your imagination in that manner - but I don't think they're ever going to be officially endorsed.

Honestly, there's not an official stance on this. Many of our players said "No", but staff didn't. We said once we didn't ever think we'd add "ferals" and there's three now...we never thought we'd add male/female avatars and they are in production. Our community is almost 11 years old now and the net, the world and our players change all the time. We may very well allow Human or humanistic avatars someday if enough players really want them and it's felt to be in the best interest to the game. That stance with DEP right now is that we are undecided.

Heh, I didn't say that the staffy folks ever said anything about it one way or the other... I, personally, just think they won't be added, unless they get put in as a Digo in some time in the future - since they don't exist in Dragonlands canon at all, why would they be introduced as a main species? (And yes, I know the ferians weren't in there to begin with, but there was that whole werefurre thing going on prior to, which is close enough.)

There are already human avatars floating around out there, and if a dream experiences enough of a demand for 'em, they can always make them into a localspecies, anywhoo.

First of all: Jacki, congratulations to your phenomenal thread-title. >.> I would have never guessed it was a suggestion ;) </endsarcasm>. Anyways. Male and female avtars would sooo rule :D and and! I personally don't think humans fit into furcadia right now xP So I'm against the suggestion.

How bout a compromise? Have fauns, centaurs, sphinxes, merpeople, and other creatures with human parts.
