"butterfly" Wings, New Digo Idea Options

I have an idea for a new type of wings -- the ones my character (I) have:

They're feathery wings, in the same vein as classics, primes, and triwings. However, they're like triwings taken a step further: feathery wings with a colorful patterning on them akin to a butterfly's.

I wish I had a picture representation to offer. Basically, think big feathery wings with butterfly colors slapped onto'm.

A mixture of bats and butters, then? Would be decently easy to edit the Bat avatar with patterns and things, I suppose =)

They're not bat wings. >_< They're feathery wings. (The example picture I've done doesn't really look like feathery wings -- they will once I finish them.) They'd be like a mixture of primes and butters.

somehow i think you're the only person who has wings like that on their char, or one of the few.
if everybody got something only their character had, it wouldn't be very universal, and would be a waste of valuable time.

I'm not sure of what you're trying to say, Penelope. Yes, these are "my" wings, but I figured that these would make for a nice digo item that others might like, as well. I don't intend to be the only person to buy them -- if I wanted to be the only person with wings like these, I'd patch them into a dream.

im trying to say that items that do not have a universal appeal (such as primes, tris, classics; common things) are NOT worth the time to make and put up as a digo item, because they do not reap profit.
im also trying to say that if one person gets their character's item put up as a digo, we're going to get 94208525932 threads about the same thing with different items, which all falls under a "custom digo" umbrella in the long run, which has been shot down.

I'm not a staff member of DEP, so I can't make a judgement about the profit that wings bring in. However, by having a look at the Thank You page, it looks like to me that a lot of people have invested in wings. And those are only the for-life buyers.

Will others like this digo? I don't know that either. That's why it's a suggestion. I like the idea, and I think others might like it, as well.

As for making digos out of others' personal ideas, isn't that where ideas come from? If one person wants extra tails for their character, or clothing, or a ferian, they might suggest it (for the sake of their character), but others might like buy the digo as well. It's up to DEP to decide what players might like the most, and thus their decision of what new digos will be added.
