New Wings, Bees! Options

Yeah me, Continued, got a new little alt Bumbles. I like bees if you haven't noticed. Well, I wanted some good digo wings for her, but classics don't really fit for a bumblebee. Butters would work, but not close enough. So what about Bee Wings?

I'd personally like to see some dragonfly/bee/etc style wings. Butters don't really work for that, you're absolutely right.

Maybe I'll make Bee wings my next free wing project.

If you are looking for something to use in your own dreams for the time being, we have a bugge avatar made by editing the kitter and bugge items that might interest you (or not as it is not exactly the best or specifically a bumble bee).

I know you can't exactly use those on the main maps, but maybe they will suit you for your private dreams until something comes along.

If you would like to try one on before downloading them, stop by the New Furre Friends dream in Acropolis near the Naia Portal or use the link from our website. Then just bump one of the bugge statues/items in the dream.

Actually, if you want to walk around as a Bugge all over in Furc, all you have to do is replace one of the default avatars in your default Furcadia installation patch. You will see yourself as a bugge all over, though others will not.

No new wing types until 24-bit is done. We've had dragonfly wings planned for awhile and waiting for translucency for them :) Bee wings would be cute too!

This is a fabulous idea and I truly believe Furcadia could do something wonderful with this. They are using the bat digos to support the bats. Well did you know that bumblebees (a very important part of the ecosystem) are vanishing at an astonishing rate and no one has yet to figure out why? I would really love to see DEP and highly respect them too, if they released Bumblebee wings and donated half of the profits to the associations committed to saving the bumblebee and figuring out why it is going extinct. I would buy them yearly if not for life to support this cause, as well as sport some rather cute bumblebee wings!


What do you say DEP? I think it would make a fabulous difference. <3

It's a nice idea and I agree about the bumblebees. Like I said in the previous post though, we are not adding any wing types until the 24-bit. Also, at this time Furcadia doesn't have a profit...in fact we never have ;p Every bit of money we make gets taken up to keep the game going and pay our few employees. We did however, donate part of the sales for the butterfly wings to the monarch association the year the butters came out. There'd been a serious decline in Monarchs that year but they are recovered now.

I agree that there should be bee wings, and that some of the money should be donated, because, apparently, the bee population is plummeting.
