I Have Alot Of Suggestions O_o Options

One of the many suggestions was maybe more fonts in the line of furcadia like Comic Sans MS.. etc
Another would probably be combining two digos into one, like one classic wing and one triwing into that and vice-versa. I think a awesome avatar would be thus of a LEMUR! Monkies. ALSO my friend Disturbia has put this into my mind maybe a Ferian BEAR! We should also have a program where you can locate where people are. OMG AND LLAMAS =D one of my friends pointed out that we should have it where we have all kinds of dragon avatars to where you can buy your own certain style, like a chinese dragon, forest dragon, etc.... well thats all i can think of right now XD

Well, as awesome as that idea is (alot of the reason, because I came up with the bear idea ) the problem with the Furre tracking thing is that we'd have ALOT of stalkers. o.O

I don't think DEP will add more fonts.
It's not really something we need at the moment, and it wouldn't really matter anyway. Whatever font style someone else has on, you don't see it the same, you see it as the one you have on. So there's really no point to it. It'd just take up more space.



As far as I've heard, there's supposed to be an update where you can piece together your own avatar? May or may not be true, but if it is, the wing digo situation is solved.


Monkeys may be added someday, but there really aren't many players at all that actually play a monkey. And being so specific in cutting it straight down to a lemur takes away a lot of possibilities.


Ferian bears, more plausible. More people are starting to play bear and panda characters, but I rarely see any feral-- but it may happen eventually.


Llamas have been suggested before and probably wont ever make it in. Too specific.


As for the dragon idea, that'd be a lot more patching to do. And the everyone would want a feral phoenix with it and more gryffe options. e.e


And the tracking idea, I more than likely can guarantee will never be in place. That violates people's privacy, and can make it easier for trolls, art thieves, and spammers to locate one person they'd want to annoy.
That's what the summon feature is for. If someone tries to summon you, you at least know who they are, and have the choice to join their exact spot or not.

I think the furre tracking idea is a GOOD idea, and you'd probably say `find/track stripesthezebra or something like that.
I think it's a good idea because you should be able to turn off your tracking system, with something like this: `tracking-off, `tracking-on, `track-off, `track-on etc. If I had my tracking system on, and someone said `find/track stripesthezebra It'd say <furresnamehere> is in <dreamownersname>'s dream, <dreamdeschere> or somethin like that.
If I had it OFF, it'd say 'Sorry, but <furresnamehere> has turned off their tracking system!'

I think this recent suggestion post has a lot to do with this furre tracking idea. This post asked by a "details-furre" command couldn't be put in, with the idea that it could list when a name was last logged on, etc. Many of the replies posted there brought up good reasons in that post why it wouldn't work. I think they could apply here as well if you want to take a look.

On Furcadia, extra fonts are player-customizable, just like local species, portraits, and other patches. If you want to use a specific font for your dream, you have the ability to patch one in. Furcadia hardly needs new default fonts on top of what it already has and whatever is available via Unicode.

As for avatars, the 24-bit update is supposed to slice and dice the avatars into pieces, allowing us to piece together the avatar we want, just as Tarrence mentioned. I would guess that something resembling monkeys, lemurs, and llamas might be doable. Obviously, I can't say for sure if this can be done. I really shouldn't tout the 24-bit update to be a universal panacea for Furcadia's avatars.

Ferian bears and different varieties of dragons... I don't see why not (beyond the obvious DEP lacks enough money, of course).

I'm against a furre tracking program in Furcadia. Others have no business knowing where I am. If they want to know where I am, they can whisper me and ask, which gives me the option of lying to them in order to save face.
