I think it would be nice to have the choice of your markings like if your a canine you can have spots, strips, random, german shepard or fox markings. Have about 10 or 20 markings for each avatar you could select to fit your style.

I agree, maybe you should take that up with the pixels.

It's been suggested. This may be possible as an attachment, but it's a lot of work! Each avatar is 20 frames, so even just 10 kinds of markings per avatar means 200 new shapes. With the current tools it's just not possible, but there may be better methods of doing things like this in the future. sa.gif

Well, the thing is i am a pixel lol. But I know about the whole shape thing and I was thinking about using the markings as textures or skins, you know like the sims. It just wraps around the furre. Probably after the 32-bit update it would be easier to accomplish.

Can't wrap around a 2D object, It'd be a flat pattern and look weird? Could maybe look at shading and resize the pattern and shade it accordingly to make it look like it's stretched around the furre, but that's a lot of work to make the code for it...

Very good idea, I find it annoying that the canines have striped and spots and what not.

This is really harsh. It takes a LOT more work than most people realize to keep Furcadia running at all, let alone add every new feature that is requested by players.

They're working their tails off every day to make Furcadia better and better - patience is a virtue.

I'm glad you posted this remark in more than one thread.

Have you ever coded a video before? Let alone a massive online game? Probably not. Don't be so pushy and demeaning.
