I would love to see Badgers as a species on Furcadia. Although not insanely popular, Badgers are formidable animals with a great deal of strength. It's hard to pretend that our squirrel or skunk is really a badger when they have that big foofy tail waving behind them. In addition, Badgers have a distinctive head shape and pattern design, that squirrels and skunks can't quite meet.

You probably won't see a free badger avatar, because badgers are already covered by the Musteline avatar. (Badgers are members of the Mustelidae family.)

The musteline in Furcadia is a bit skinny and kind of smaller looking. Same family yeah, but appearance is different. But just saying. xD I know where you're coming from though. There are honestly dozens of different species furcadia could use since the imagination of the rpers is infinite on the type of characters they rp as. I think adding too many would cause some conflict later. Like if there are too many in a list, you'd probably spend a long time just to find a feline. Could alphabetize, but meh. o.o |
