So will any of these other avatars be made? Like an anthropomorphic bat instead of just the feral bat? Even if it has batwings placed upon it like the dragon does, I'd pay for one.

Also, what about any aquatic avatars? I seen in Chow and Mint's TGT they made an anthro shark. Are there going to be any aquatic characters made that are anthro? Because I do have a shark character that I use at TGT specifically for the avatar they have, but I also have an Orca character and I can't really use any of the avatars to portray him as what he is.

Frequently Suggested Avatars is an archive of avatar suggestions. It contains a summary of DEP's latest stance on each avatar (if known) and the extent to which each species is represented in the Dragonlands (Furcadia canon). Lastly, it has a list of upcoming avatars. All of the information in this thread has been released to the public.

In short, DEP has not said whether there will be an anthro bat or any aquatic creatures. If you play an anthro bat, you could use the Rodent with Bat Wings. Although bats are not rodents, some people think they look similar enough.

I think we should have some aquatic avatars added into Furcadia on the upcoming update to 32-bit color. Like an orca or a shark avatar (shark avatar can be seen in The Golden Tether by The Mint Mink and Chow) because I personally have a shark and an orca character and really none of the currently free avatars remotely resemble one of those. I could get a port done, but a space is around 10 dollars and to get decent looking art work you are looking at around 30 dollars for the whole shibang. Will there be any aquatics to somehow stream into the Dragonlands? Like an earthquake happened due to a meteor hit and thus carved a canyon with gushing water mixed with minerals to create it as salt water? And thus the aquatic gene pools arise? Would this be possible to do? I understand that an avatar takes up to 20 frames in the fsh editor, but I think this would be worth it even though I am unable to assist in such maters. As I am not very good at pixel artwork or the like. Does anyone else think this is a good idea to do and with the story line on how to get them implemented into the Dragonlands history?

That being said, the Dragonlands already has some precedent for aquatic species. Merfurres are a sentient race in the Dragonlands. They have the torso and head of a furre (most commonly equine) and the tail of a fish, shark, dolphin, or seal.

I just read about the Merfurres, but I'm looking for more of an actual whale/shark looking avatar. Where it's like the entire make up of a shark, but instead it has arms, hands, and feet for fins, but still has the tail fin along with the dorsal fin. I like the way how the Merfurre is described, but the picture that is shown in the link isn't remotely close to the two characters I have. None have a horse shape head nor a body like the Merfurre. It would be neat to see those in the game, but they just aren't what my characters are like. I message Talzhemir to see what she says on the idea. And thanks for giving me the heads up on the Dragonlands Kamose. I just hope that sometime in the near future or just in the future that an aquatic based character like a shark or an orca are made for a free avatar to use around Furcadia. Speaking of which, I wonder if anyone else has any similar aquatic characters made up.

You must understand that there are 60,000+ people that play furcadia and we get hundreds of requests for new avatars on the forums, by email and in game every week. We do look at suggestions here but it is only one of our cosiderations when deciding the next avatar being worked on. You should not expect that a Creator will answer each of your suggestions, especially not suggestions for avatars. Please do suggest, but please leave Creators alone to do their jobs. If you want to know mroe specifically what is being worked on you can buy Silver sponsorship and ask on that forum or watch what is posted there.
