i think we need a new aviator! A Scalie of somesort would be nice. And before you you say "but it's FURcadia"... we have dragons, gryphs, and phoes! so why not a scalie? I've seen LOTS of Scalie char's [i.e T-rexes, raptors, etc] so why not an avatior for them? I'm shure many people would appreciate it...

It's cool to say I wish that (insert species here) were made into an avatar but it's just not gonna happen any time soon. This has been brought up a thousand times for a thousand different species ("furry" or not). The best way to get something like this is to do it yourself, and hope DEP sees it and likes it enough to make it a main avatar. For now, patch it, or just pretend your character's avatar isn't covered in hair.
I know someone did make a reptilian patch, but I can't remember who. Try sifting Furcadia's patch section. If it's not there, run a Google search. If you're feeling rich, just pay someone to make them for you. ;) |

Anyway, I'm just interested to see what's going to happen next, whether a new avatar is added, or- hm, I'd like to know what all the interesting buttons in the default system.fsh are for. Are those old, or something new? There I go, interrupting myself in mid-sentence again. e_e Cohesive thought processes? Not in this furre. |

As far as I know, those buttons belonged to the "message center", which was abandoned a while ago, before it was fully operational.

Normally new avatars are based on what the populace wants. That's why the lapines were introduced because many people liked them and played them -- same reason for the gryffes. I believe there were three gryphon avatar patches created before it became a special.
And yes, there is a Reptile patch. I believe it's under K in the patch section. ;) |

The one thing I've noticed in Furcadia is the lack of aviators. Luckily, dreams like "Furcadia Airport" fill the need adequately.

A message center, hm? It looks like it was turning out to be pretty nice. Maybe something to think about in the future, with the game farther along and more money available to throw about.

We've created a Naga Avatar at The Golden Tether.
To see it come NW of the vinca point in FurN. You must be a Mustie to be a Naga in the dream. Im thinking about sending it to the DEP for a new avatar for furcadia, if enough fures like it. |

This. A free reptile, and a free bird, would balance out the fact most of the Digo items have more simplistic, free counterparts. Ie, wolven = canine, lapine = chinchilla, or rabben etc. They wouldn't have to be 'ohwowdetailz' either, otherwise that'd probably defeat the point of making the Digos anyway if the free avatars were flashy enough to substitute.
