Springtime is coming, and with it, comes Jujinka's Spring Festival! All furres are invited to help Jujinka bring in the Spring, March 20th in the Spring Festival dream in the Festival Grounds. This festival is about persona play, meaning everyone should come in character prepared for a Medieval Spring Festival. There will be spring events including games, egg hunts, booths, and Maypole dancing.

The theme this year is 'Kitter Bloom!', and we are hoping to see many people take full advantage of the theme in their creative works and events.

As always, there are contests for just about everyone! With a Dreaming Contest, an Art Contest, a Writing Contest, and a Participation Contest--something is bound to strike your fancy!

In our last Festival, we gave away almost 2,000 golden Dragonscales in prizes!

Shortly, you'll be able to check out http://furcadia.com/spring/ for more information, and happy dreaming!

a little bit more, but Rei said it in a nutshell: Not to undermine Rei but I'm used to Strict that the notion of Persona is extremely foreign to me; but basically it's come as you are, we're very friendly people, I for one don't judge on RP skills, and we really don't care on the WHATs of your character as we're wanting story and fun.
aka don't stress the little stuff too much.

G'luck ya'll and hope to see some 'persona play' ^^

I didn't know we had color-changing DS (which is a requirement for this round of Dream Contests). They're not immediately evident from a perusal of the DS list, at least not to me. If I may make a suggestion, when dream entries require certain DS to be used in them, maybe the required DS could be listed in the contest guidelines or forum thread so everyone knows precisely what can be used?

Color changing DS is 5:1250 and 5:1251

The colours themselves are documented here: http://www.furcadia.com/dsparams/colors.html

Remap types are listed in the third-to-last section on this page: http://www.furcadia.com/dsparams/

Thank you. csmile.gif That should help everyone be on the same page and provide a handy, one-stop reference for entrants.

It's fixed! Sorry about that folks! (The way that the gui is set up for creating the CEF has 'Art' and Zip' listed as two different things. This little kitterwing got confused!)

I was wondering about the Contest page.. Do we only get to see the entries a few days after the deadline or something? Because i know someone who submitted something some time back and i would assume some others have too but i still see nothing in all categories

ooor not as gmail won't let me send zip files via emails >.< *le sigh* I'll try again tomorrow when I have time

okay... is there some sort of limit to the Art contest zip folder? its 551 KB and it still isn't uploading. At all. And I emailed the scribes a few days back although Idk if they got it since you really can't email a zip folder [apparently a lot of emails see this as a "virus"] but seriously... 551kb... that's 4.3 megabits... aka SMALL.

And it can't be internet- I upload things larger than this on dA- I've also streamed and done numerous tasks that again require more data than measly 4 megabits... So what's up?

Telelia, I just checked with a 584kb zip, and it loaded just fine. Might have been bad weather on the internet, sunspots, or I don't know, a great turtle hiccuping somewhere, but it seems to work just fine now!

I'm a wee bit a-flutter about my entry successfully going through after the luck I had with the form for G+G Day. I'm so last minute, I sneaked in just before the deadline. Ehehehe. wink.gif

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask... but is the Jujinka Festival patch available for download somewhere? Specifically the portraits. The items and such are in the patch archive, but the portraits are not.
