Obliteration
I'm not exact sure if these should be in the dreamweaving section or patching section, so I'll just try here first. So what I'm trying to do is make houses with walkable roofs in my dream. My friend told me it had something to do with risen floors, but I'm not sure what he meant by that, or how to do it. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance!

It's kinda like an illusion. Let me create you a diagram so that you know how to do it. http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/8894/roof9ct.png

1st Step - Create your "exterior" walls.
2nd Step - Use a floor to create a roof.
3rd Step - Your done. tongue.gif

That's certainly one way to do it. Another way to do it is to put the roofs in your item files. This enables you to create roofs that look three-dimensional. (Naia Green's roofs are objects, not floors.) Both methods involve placing items or floors next to the walls in such a way as to create an illusion that something is above the walls.

Group Hall (original): This is the Group Hall (in Naia Green) as it is seen in the game. The building looks as if it has a roof.

Group Hall (no objects): This is the Group Hall with the objects hidden.

Group Hall (no walls): This is the Group Hall with the walls hidden.

You can put roof items in the middle of the building without getting in the way of walking, because the inside of the building is actually a completely different location on the map. (When the player steps through the doorway, DS moves him to the inside of the building.) This is also how people make buildings with second stories or private rooms.

I actually meants roofs that you can actually walk on, but I figured out how to do it on my own. Thanks though!
