Well I was laying in a dream, bored. When I overheard two wolvens and their new born pup talking. The pup was really upset because she had just bought a new wolven for a year to match her parents when she found out her pack rules state that she must wait a year before she can become one. (she had to be a equine or pup in the feral dreams while rping) So I had an idea...

For the same payments such as Foxens (subscriptions) a furcadian could become a baby ferian or digo!

Such as

Wolven pups

Tygard cubs

Leonen cubs

Foxen kits

Dragon hatchlings

Pheonix hatchlings

Unicorn colts

Kitterwing kits

Gryffe hatchlings

Flox kits (with buds instead of flowers)

Sure there are furlings now but they are reduced to the basic default avatars. Such as cats and dogs. Why not spice things up? And since their small...less space to take up! HAH!

My understanding is that we won't see any new wings or free avatars until after the 24-bit update. (This is because most of Furcadia's current wings and avatars will need to be redone for the 24-bit version, and if they added more avatars before the update, they'd have double the workload.) I'm not sure if this policy also applies to premium acatars.

I'm afraid we don't have plans for any more free avatars until after the 24-bit update and then maybe a bit more. More likely there will be ways to modify avatars so that they have horns or new muzzle or legs to look more like other types of species. A deer might be an equine with with thinner legs and muzzle and horns added, for instance. We have a lot of body types already. Clothing can be used on more furres if the body types match too!

No new wing types until 24-bit is done.

Kevin never said they have to do it urgently. its just a suggestion.

I think it's a cute idea, and I'm sure once the site is GINORMOUS and bringing in loads of money, they might do that! 'cause then you gotta have male/female/unspecified portraits to go with all of those too.

Size isn't everything wink.gif Keep that in mind!

Very nice! I like this idea!

I would only agree to this once the site is larger and has a lot more people playing Furcadia. For now, it's not really needed.

As long as M16+ restrictions apply to the avatars, yes. :O

What if we are adult verified?

Doesn't matter?

The purpose of the furlings' map restrictions are to draw a clear line between "mature" and "all ages". Allowing any child avatars on adult maps would encourage roleplays and situations of adult (sexual and violent) natures with the child avatars which... is quite disturbing.

Agreed.

Anyway, at least it's a new digo idea. smile.gif It probably would be best as a subscription, I agree- most animal babies don't stay as babies for long.
