Twelve years. For an online game to last that long, it needs something special. For me to stay around for eight years, it would have to mean I love this community.

Do I love Dream Weaving and scripting? You bet. I like to code outside of DragonSpeak, however- with ActionScript, especially. ActionScript has a stronger structure- yet I love developing in Furcadia instead of Flash. Why? I like sharing; I have nothing to share with Flash. I have a lot to share with Furcadia. I'm good at DS- and as such, I have decided to become a Dream Mason. It's the best opportunity to share my abilities with the community.

Furcadia was the first online community I ever joined. Since then, I have seen others. None compared to this one. None were so friendly or understanding.

I'd like to give a toast to Furcadia- the best game on the Internet. Not because it's addicting. Not because it's got amazing graphics. But because the Community is something special. Twelve golden years- may Furcadia continue to prosper.

I LOVE Furcadia!!!! Please never take it down. If the owner decides to let Furcadia go, slap him. D: Alot of people love this game, especially me. Without it- I have no way of connecting to people I thought I'd never meet. I met my first love on here, and I've met many many good friends for life. If this games ends, then it's back to the chat rooms invaded by perverts. I'll take Furcadia over. ):

Amen to that, Obsidian. I've seen the other "communities"- like IMVU. Dress up your avatar, devour bandwidth, and show off the spiffy things you bought. YAWN.

Furcadia, I'm showing off things I made. Sometimes sharing code. In fact...I set up my home as a community. Every family member can upload dreams, and I set up a little "file station" (on drop.io) for us to share our creations with each other.

That's great to hear! My boyfriend hates this game- thinks it's anti-social and stuff. But it's the most social I've been. Sure- I have a simple fear of being around alot of people- a problem that occured because I was bullied all throughout my school years. I never got a break- but here... this is the only place where I can be myself without being called ugly names. If anyone bullies me here, I can easily ignore them.

Furcadia is the best, I have been on here for about 3 years now and found out about it while chatting on wolfhome.com. ^^

I found out about furc in 02 from a friend on IRC. 7 years later, here I am.
