Next Free Species?, Deer or Goats/Sheep Options

I think the next species should be deer or sheep/goats because all of the hooved animals currently availible, horses and bovines, are really too heavy to realisticlly use for deer/sheep/goats/llamas etc so a lighter looking hooved avatar would be really nice for those of us who like the idea of those characters.

You know, a deer-like avatar in combination with the potential upcoming tail Digo schtick would work well together. The main difference is that the tail Digo would really be an antler/horn Digo for this avatar. That way, both deer and antelope (and, perhaps, sheep, goats, llamas, etc., depending on how well the avatar is made) could be represented by one avatar, decreasing download times.

There are no plans to add more free species at this time. At least not until after the 24-bit update.

Goats/Sheep are actually classified as Cattle which are Bovines.
Deer/Elk/Moose/Caribou are Cervidae, and um, I didn't see this thread before I posted mine XD

Actually, I think that the next free av should be a walking avian. Not a duck. That's for sure. More like.. a canary or a blue bird or, a cardinal or a robin. Something that looks like the average every day bird that you can see just by peeking out your window.

As I've mentioned on other threads, we sell "flight" in Furcadia and birds would just be silly without wings. There are mythical and seasonal avians if that's what you want.

I'd love to even see another bird digo that is.. er... not a mythical. I love those avatars, but they don't suit things like plain, old, regular birds.

You were saying "for free". I'd rather have a slightly more impressive one as a digo, which also makes it more likely to happen.

Though, the one being worked on by b13 simultaniously does and does not have wings (small pinfeathers on the arms hardly count as actual wings, IMO), so I'm not sure where it would fit in the "flight" idea.

I have a byrdde/feathrre character whose arms are like evolved wings--long arms, covered in long feathers. Big, spindly hands with long fingers. That's how I always picture mundane byrddes/feathrres, with phoenixes having separate wings.
